Day 3 + 4 in France

Day 2
A 3 bedroom apartment with one bathroom. Khalid and his roommate have one room. Myself, Marn, NKI have another room, and John Choi, Laugh(Korea), Buktooth, and Bas in the other room. Obviously we are Gamers, so everyone would knows what that means after a long night of cracking on SF4. Waking up late... So we finally leave the house around maybe 4:30pm. We took the train to Paris and we ate at this chain restuarant which is similar to an applebee's or denny's back in the states, but this time, it was called Hippotamous. Everyone had their own type of generic dish, including myself. I had Steak (Medium Well) with mash potatoes. It was made "French" style and it was pretty damn good.

After that, we walked around and we went to tourist exhibit #1: Champs et Lysée and the Arc de Triomphe (Arc of Triumph) It was a nice monument, but the only thing I cared for when it came down to "tourist" stuff is to go to the top of the eiffel tower. The Arc, you can go upstairs, which was defintely not for me, so myself and Marn just waited for them to go up and come down. After 45 minutes, they finally came down and they were all in pain because they had to walk all the way to the top. GGPO.... Everyone is now tired and Paris is closing now, so we head back to Les Baccoonet to get some late food and called it a night. Had another greek/halal sandwich. I had beef this time on a pita with some salad. It was pretty yummy. We also ended up falling asleep around 5am... Will Day 3 be another repeat of Day 2??!?!??!

Day 3
What happen on day 3? We went to the loo. Its a museum where the famous Mona Lisa painting was held at. What time did we leave though? Around 5-6 pm... Typical gamer time. When we got there, it was closed, but they let us in just downstairs, which didn't have anything. We couldn't go see anything else though. So we ate typical greek/halal food and went back to the house and just played games for the night.

Day 4
We left from Paris to go to the tournament place which is located in Renne. Renne's a 3 hr drive from Paris. So the French players rented a car for us foreigners to take us to Stunfest 2009. I basically slept the whole way through. I woke up at one of the pitstops so we can get some food. There was heavy traffic on the way going there though. Supposedly, it was a national holiday going on. So I had some pulled pork with some pasta. It was actually pretty good, and I finished it with a cheesecake. I got hit by the food coma and fell asleep.

I woke up and we finally arrive to the venue. It took us 7 hrs to get there. I didn't even know because I was sleeping the whole way through. We met with the organizers and the person we are staying with in Renne. His name's Arnold. As we were going inside the venue, it basically was held in a parking lot. That's a first for me actually. Going to a tournament in a big parking lot. It was a nice venue actually. It got a little cold later at night, but since there was so many people there, the gamer's body heat kept us all warm. So everyone was just setting up the games, the arcade cabinets, the tvs and everything else. It was great to see how lively everyone is to make this a very good Stunfest. We left with Arnold to go back to his house. He was so nice to us. He got us all towels, got ready the bed for us, and he was just very hospitable. All of us went to sleep to get ready for the big day tomorrow...
