International Tournament Stunfest pt.1

Day 1. May4th - May 5th

The flight was alright. I didn't get alot of sleep, but the food was good and I got the chance to see "Yes Man" and "Slumdog Millionaire (Great Movie BTW A MUST SEE!!!)". Once we finally landed, Campbell (Buktooth) was waiting for us to arrive at the arrival gate. We thought we had the red carpet for us foreign players but it didn't happen. The driver had a mishap with work and couldn't pick us up at the airport. We had to take the Blue line to a stop called Les Bacconnet. I thought this would be pretty easy, but I was wrong. I'm from NYC and this must've been the most difficult thing ever. Their ticketing machines were like "not in order" and the machines only accepted coins. Why wouldn't you accept bills? I never heard of such BULLSHIT. LOLz. So after going through 3 broken machines, we finally found a working one and when we got to the track, some Nigerian kid was like "this is the train to Paris". So obviously as tourists, we took the kid's word. It turns out that he was demanding money from us because he "helped" us. It was fine at first because he was asking us for like .50 euros which was $1 USD at the time, but then it went to a demand of 1 Euro and then ended up to a demand of 5 euros. I'm like "I may not be around here, but I am def ain't fucking stupid. So later on, we got off the wrong stop. It was a nice stop, it looked all nice and everything was so pretty. But it was the wrong stop.... LOLz. How did we get off the wrong stop? Well when we talked to our host, he pronounce the stop in a way that sounded similar as Les Bacconnet. We got off at Les Halles.

So when we got back in the station we had to buy brand new tickets. When I put my ticket in the turnstyle, these 2 random french ghetto girls pushed me in and hopped the turnstyle with me. I am like WTFOMG?!?!?! People don't even do that in NYC. I brushed it off and we finally got back to our long journey and FINALLY comes our stop. The train stops.... We wait for the door to open, but it doesn't open. It then leaves... I then realized, you gotta push a button to open the train doors. Where in the world do you have to press a little round button to open train doors? So we got off the next stop and transfer to the other side. Our train comes, but it doesn't stop. Lolz it was an express train... SIGHHHHH... Waited another 10 more minutes and the train finally arrives and we get on and finally make it to the right station.

As we were leaving the station, you have to put your ticket that you bought from the orginal destination to leave when you arrive at the destination you are trying to get to. Unfortunately, Marn lost his ticket so he had to hop the turnstyle to leave the station... He didn't get caught which meant, its pretty easy to get away with not paying for the train. We finally reached the guy whom we are staying with, Khalid. We put our stuff in his apartment and got some grub. It was yummy actually. It wasn't french food, it was more of a greek/halal type of thing. I had a pita sandwich with curry chicken and patika chicken. It came with alot of fries. For 7 euros which is equivalent to 12 USD I guess. So it was pretty overpriced for a fastfood thingamig. We got back to the house, and I passed out and woke up 5 hrs later. My day was practically over, I was just playing Street Fighter 4 for the remaining night.

Finally found the reason why our day was bad..... Rumor has it, that Buktooth carries this curse of badluck. John Choi was explaining it to me, calling it the campbell curse. It sounds pretty true, but we will see what happens when I talk about the remaining of my France trip

TO BE CONTINUED....
